Integrity Energy makes the process simple. First, you’ll need to provide the most recent copy of your energy bill to confirm your usage and help us find the right options for your specific business needs.
Then, if you have an energy contract currently, you’ll need to either review it or touch base with your current supplier to confirm the end date–we can contact your energy supplier for you, if you prefer.
Finally, once we’re confirmed your usage and the end date of your energy contract, we will provide you with the most competitive energy rate options available. Integrity Energy works to find energy suppliers who are the right fit for your business and your specific needs.
Choosing a fixed-rate energy contract can be a great way for businesses to manage their energy spending before it happens and make overhead budgeting simpler.
For many businesses, day-to-day energy usage is fairly easy to predict. For example, say you manage an office – five days a week, the lights turn on at 7:00 am and turn off at 7:00 pm. While that energy usage is fixed, the cost is not. This is because electricity rates can vary from day to day and even hour to hour depending on the demand for electricity in your area, major weather events and so much more.
While energy price fluctuation is usually small, paying more during each demand spike can add up over months and years to thousands in additional energy spending. In extreme cases, these demand spikes can leave business owners with cripplingly high energy bills–the 2021 Winter Storm Uri in Texas is a prime example of this.
By choosing a supplier that offers fixed-rate pricing, you’ll never have to worry about unexpected rate spikes. In addition to this peace of mind, switching to a fixed rate can help keep your month-to-month energy spending much more manageable and predictable.
Also, if you’re interested in purchasing renewable energy to power your business, Integrity Energy can connect your business with energy suppliers in your region that provide clean energy options.

Integrity Energy is passionate about providing small- and medium-size businesses with the kind of energy rates that usually only larger businesses are able to obtain.
With over 40,000 clients and 5 billion kWh on our books, we are able to negotiate incredibly competitive energy contracts for smaller businesses that don’t use enough energy to leverage favorable rates. Working with Integrity Energy can provide you with more buying power and a better energy deal than shopping alone can provide.
No, Integrity Energy will never send you a bill. Our services are similar to that of an insurance broker’s: We work with over 30 major suppliers to negotiate the best energy deal possible for your business, passing the savings on to you. We earn a small amount on each contract that we set up from the supplier providing the contract.
However, unlike other brokers who may have fewer suppliers and could be partial to sending clients to one supplier or another, Integrity Energy has a large, healthy network of over 30 major suppliers, a large client base, and a decade of experience. This volume allows us to negotiate with our suppliers more effectively and put our clients’ needs front and center.
Never. Throughout the switching process, you will always remain with your utility company, which is separate from your energy supplier. Your utility company is responsible for delivering energy from energy suppliers to your building via the utility company’s wiring, pipes and other infrastructure.
When the time comes to switch, your utility company will simply start delivering energy from your new supplier on your new energy plan, but this will never interrupt your energy flow.
Usually, the answer to this question is no, but it depends on your location. In many areas, you will still continue to receive your bills from the same utility company you’ve always had, with your new supplier noted on the bill. (Remember, your utility company is not the same as your energy supplier).
However, in some areas, certain suppliers may send you a separate bill. Our energy team can always help answer any questions you may have about the switching process.
It can take between 15 and 45 days for your utility company to process and accept your new supplier change. Usually, this means it can take about one to two billing cycles for your supplier and their rates to appear on your bill.
